This is a very interesting handmade fighting knife with a Bowie style blade and Italian insignia for one of the Black Brigades, XVI Brigata Nera "Dante Gervasini" of Varese, with the roman numeral XVI on the pommel and scabbard. The knife is absolutely of the period and handmade. The 9 blade shows heavy usage and sharpening. The hilt is in good shape with the Black Brigade badge of a skull with a dagger in its mouth
